2hr decant... Great fruit with cherries and raspberries prominent. Mid to high tannin with moderate acidity. Served with traditional spaghetti & meatballs. A bit too hot for my taste.

2015 Napa Trip - Day 1 (Napa, CA): This is the big kids' table. Wow. I just kept sticking my nose in this glass. Truly had a nose of a 15+ year-old left bank. So many layers. Deep and haunting. But VERY elegant on the palate and smooth finish. I don't think this needs a lot more time in the cellar. Some sediment; would recommend a strain.
This was probably the best wine of our entire trip. 'Nough said.

Good depth of color . Nose of leather and dark fruits . Still some tannin. Try with steak.

Leather, tobacco, mild spice, dark cherry, a bit strong on alcohol, but smooth and pleasing, soft tannins, a more subtle cab.
