Blending 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon produced an exciting wine with lift, energy and freshness that really lets you experience the ripe, grapefruit, lemon zest, honeydew, marmalade, floral and mineral elements present in the wine. The finish feels great with the right balance of ripe fruits and acidity.
2012 UGC; 3/5/2015-3/6/2015 (Singapore): Best white Bordeaux of the tasting in my eyes. This is much fresher than most of the other whites at the tasting given nice citrus nose and good acidity and minerality. Nice touch of nuts and almond.
UGC Tasting. Found this easily the most interesting and enjoyable wine of the day. The palate is tightly wound, mineral, dry but also showing some good extract underneath for enjoyment now. This has an excellent balance of freshness and concentration, complexity, and the promise of a long life ahead. Classic Bordeaux Blanc. Poured out of a decanter.
