“Mixed Bag of Australian Wines”-Tasting, Wine 4 (blind), in November 2013. The wine was dark purple in colour and offered an expressive, sweetish, slightly artificial nose of red fruit, cherry, blackberry, kirsch, almond, spices, roasted notes and some coconut. On the very flavourful palate the wine showed lots of ripe cherry, blackberry, kirsch, banana, roasted notes and vanilla, joined by a pleasant spiciness, paired with medium-plus acidity, medium-plus ripe, well-integrated tannin and a long finish. The medium-bodied wine was well-balanced. It drank best upon opening; re-tasted with dinner a few hours later it tasted more candy-like and flabby, and slowly declined as time passed. Good QPR. Drink now and over the next two years.

deep ruby, medium legs. simple berry sweet and spicy flavour, strong, almost balanced, easy drinking. however, as a commercial table wine, it's unavoidably over-handled and has a little unnatural taste. good casual wine, better than their Cabernet-Merlot.
Brillante y profundo rojo violeta; nariz frutosa y chocolate fresco sin madera; taninos casi inperceptibles, balanceadas frutas rojas y redondo cedoso paladar; final corto pero delicioso.

An OK Syrah/Shiraz. It might have been better if aged a few more years but was definitely drinkable.
Good Q/P

Juicy with flavors of cherry and vanilla. Slight sweetness and earthy spice on the finish.
