Just a fabulous Paso Syrah. Having nearly 12 years on this wine helps. TH syrahs can be pretty tough coming right out of the chute. This had a 2 hour decant. Nice, but not overpowering fruit and silky tannins.

PnP -- even though we usually air out most wines -- based on the TN of 3/8/20 by wine247365. Glad we didn't air this wine out, except for 10 minutes to dissipate the initial Syrah "funk", as the last half glass - about an hour and a half after opening - really began to fade. Between the funk blowing off and the wine fading, we found a medium to plus bodied wine with lots of dark red fruit, black fruit, earth and a bit more acidity than needed to balance. Recommend drinking soon.

Medium aromas, blueberry, vanilla, some oak...I think it's time to drink up as the peak has passed and the future won't be kind to it as it seemed to be about ready to start falling apart.

Just a stellar wine. One of the better Syrah's I have ever had. Still plenty of life left in this wine. I wish I had more!

Another great wine from TH. The near 10 years of age have done well for it. One of the better Syrahs from Paso, for sure.
