very nice, air and slight warming up really bring out a beautiful wine...the finish is quite nice with a bit of saline, mouth coating but very light. Great summer food wine.

A clear colored wine with a slight green hue filled with delicate yet complex aromas of green apples, orange rind, honey, basil, dried rose petals, white pepper, and a slight smokey note. Very clean and precise flavors of sweet pears, apricots, apples, with a slight dollop of rose water followed by a mid palate filled with refreshing yet discreet acidity as well as citric flavors. The finish is long lasting revealing honey, white pepper, and saline minerality. A mid bodied wine with a smooth oily texture, very focused, and delicious.

(12%) 100% Malagousia – Hailing from Tyrnavos in central Greece this one immediately appeals to you with its smoothness. Yes a fantastic, aromatic nose but once it hits your palate it is almost like honeyed rose petal water. Medium bodied it shows a swath of sweet peach flavors on the mid-palate. So much going on here (if you are attentive enough to observe); savory, spice, oily, floral and more. This all leads to a mineral drive finish with a persistent saline edge. Delicious, nuanced and complex. An exquisite wine and very fairly priced at $17…
Wine Geek Notes: Imported by Wine Wise (perhaps an Elloinos selection), fermented with native yeast, 80% in stainless, 20% in oak also aged 60 days sur lie (and the impact on texture is noticeable)
