Who says CA Bordeaux blends cant age like their European counterparts??? Darn near 20 years out and this is still a fantastic bottle! Plenty of fruit, mainly dark. Some forest floor and learher notes. Still some grip, but oh so smooth. Lucky you if you still have a bottle or two in your cellar. Lucky me that I opened this today....

Hazy notes from a couple of days back. I wondered if I left this too long in the cellar, but it was still going strong. Classic cab blackfruits and cedar, medium bodied on the palate, velvety texture, with just a touch too much oak for me. Tannins are ripe but present, in a good way. Very nice overall (A-).

Notes of cocoa, great balance, euro style. In a great drinking window.

On opening, lots of deep red and black fruit, leather boots, blackberry forrest, smooth silky tannins, and long finish.
