Nice Armagnac nose, starts intense on the fruit and some spiciness, evolves in the glass with a warm profile of cinnamon and notes from the oak. On the palate slightly creamy but without any sweetness, intense, fresh and long. Quit complex for a 12 years old Armagnac and worth the money.

£67 sounds like a lot of money for a 12 year old Armagnac but this is incredible. Gorgeous creamy custard nose. Stone fruit on the palate, baking spice, aromatic and elegant. Gorgeous and profound. I could not stop tasting this.

This is just what I want from Armagnac. Virile but quite lean and elegant and free of those exaggerated caramel notes which blight so many "prestige" brandies and Calvados. Very good.

Quite tasty. Intense fruit, amber, vanilla, spice, honey and a bit of honey on the finish, plus some lovely Armagnac oak notes. And an intoxicating, floral nose. Quite lovely. Good qpr for $60.

A private lunch (Restaurant La Tupina, Bordeaux, France): Intense and elegant, plums and honey, minerals, sweet orange, intense and smooth, elegant and long, a happy marriage between Cognac elegance and Armagnac intensity and power.
