Fading dark cloudy muddy brown-purple; lovely stewed plum notes, some subtle spice notes with tanned leather, tomato skin, spicy dark chocolate. Very cool stuff, a modern style but balanced, and actually excellent with a rich ricotta ravioli and red meat sauce--used as a substitute for a Brunello and did really well. S&L at new house.

A great St Emilion example - soft, smooth & rounded. Was a perfect accompaniment to the bourguignon... Being in the magnum would still have plenty of cellaring years left.

Improved since the last bottle. While still very new world the fruit is no longer jammy and quite delectable. At the same time it has gained a bit more of the rustic charm with barnyard, leather and earth.

Big powerful St. Emilion with plenty of foresty notes, leather, cassis, walnut, old blackberry, smoke, classic beautiful old Bordeaux, even if in a bit of a modern style. A bit hot, a bit of oak still showing through. Still, holding up very well, in a good place now. Blind at M.Pole

Excellent slightly richer style right banker, well-aged, in good shape, classic, excellent with rib-eye at Golden Steer Steakhouse Vegas w/A,Doug&A.
