  Too much tannin, chalky a bit, not structure not flavor. Opened it about 1-2 hours prior to drinking and with a meal. Disappointed.

  Red fruit, oak, vanilla, licorice.
  
  Med tannins, med plus alcohol, med plus acidity.
  
  Long finish.

  Flavor was lush and intense but with accommodating tannins. Crazy smooth finish - velvety. Tasted dark fresh fruit - dark cherry or harvested black currant. Paired with roast beef and roasted root vegetables (carrots, sweet and new potatoes, and parsnips). This wine is still trending up. Oh, and did I say how smooth it was in the mouth? Will fight not to drink all of these in the cellar!
