An amazingly concentrated wine, rich and thick, with plenty of complex big aromas and flavors. As good as Aussie shiraz can get. Much bigger and thicker than Grange, but also perfectly balanced. A true legend, probably one of the best ever from Australia! Drinknow, but it should hold for many years. Ric

Occasional dinner group: 100 Parker points (red) wines (@ the Librije in Zwolle, Netherlands.): Enormous and expressive bouquet with very ripe, almost overripe fruits, beautiful oak and sweet spices. On the palate very juicy and a lot of herbs and spices, chocolate and cherry liquor bonbons. Beautiful and mature wine.
