Loved the 2008 vintage, bought the rest they had. It is ready to drink. The 2012, not so much. Hoping some bottle aging produces the characteristics I normally associate with Tempranillo.

Krua and Canela on a Friday night (Canela Bistro - SF): The most primary of the three reds. Ripe dark fruit on the nose. In the mouth, red fruit with slightly elevated acidity - finishes as sour cherry. Light tannins. Light oak spice and sawdust on the palate. Score: between 7.5 and 8.

A really nicer Ribera de Duoro. Nice balance of acidity and tannin, dark fruit, not too "thick".
