Well, it's been a few years on these, so we'll check it in again. Still some pretty deep coloring here with garnet edges and ruby hinting purple inside. Smells like earthy funk, dried and fresh dark fruits, graphite, and crushed rocks. Medium body, acid, and finish, with a smooth and luscious texture, and flavors of black fruits and lingering blend of minerals and spices. Think I liked this better a bit younger, so better get through the remaining bottles sooner than later. Right now it's more interesting to smell than taste, but it's smooth and enjoyable enough. Had it with pizza tonight, but probably better with a steak, burger, or braised meat.

Fairly deep/ medium(+) ruby color. Funk and oak driven aromatics of coffee, dark chocolate, coconut, wet earth, and dried spices (anise stands out), along with dark and dark red fruits, and a touch of mineral. I did call out oak, but this is not oaky IMO, just elements drawn from its use. Medium (+) body, acid, and finish, with flavors of fresh and dried dark and dark red fruits, chocolate, caramel, a bloody/iron note, and minerals. This is drinking really well now with .5–1.5 hrs. It was actually a last minute stand in while the Oreno was taking its time opening up, and it did its job. Well done, old friend.

Came alive with some air. Sweet plum fruit with a hint of tar and leather. Some cocoa dust at finish with dark cherry fruit.

Deep bright cherry. Layers of red fruit and a long lasting finish. All components come together beautifully.

Short slow ox. Still has great structure and leaned more to red fruit this time interesting deep finish with strong dusty tannins.
