  Tasted at Gambero Rosso's Tre Bicchieri Vini d'Italia 2013 Event at Metropolitan Pavillion in NYC. Smooth w/overlying herbal notes.

  2013 Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri tour (Union Station, Chicago, IL): Nose: This really shows off the elegance of cab franc with tones of herbs, dark red cherries, hi-toned spices, florals, and dark red fruits.
  
  Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium/high acidity and chewy tannins. There is some real youth in the structure and the tones of herbs, dark red cherries, spices, and floral tones.
  
  Overall: This is on the youthful side, but it also has real nice depth and a savory quality as well.
