  • Served blind, oaky chardonnay that can only be from Bourgogne. Some nice lemon peels, fudge and vanilla notes, high acidity.

  • This is a beautiful Chardonnay in its prime. Very clean and with a good cut. Maybe a bit more complexity and a touch of minerality and salinity towards the finish is missing but overall it’s a very harmonious and complete wine.

TN: Intense, expressive nose with popcorn, butter, green apple, citrus rind and crushed rocks. Very inviting and itriguing, superbly delineated. On the palate the same expressiveness and aromas. Not hyper complex but high precison.Very round and with the perfect creaminess and a superb acidity kepping it fresh and creating good tension.

Decanting: A bit of air helps but no extensive decanting is necessary.

  • Tasted at Epicure in Paris. Fine toast, popcorn, melted butter a splash of lime juice, red apples, green apple with a nice mineral dimension and fresh herbs. It goes on with notes of caramel and a whiff of vanilla. On the amazingly rich and lush palate you’ll find a creamy texture along with the fresh acidity. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this getting even better.

  • Light medium gold color. Drank a couple glasses over 90 minutes. This has a lovely presence. There's plenty of depth and energy with a fantastic minerality and excellent dry citrus extract, Meyer lemon and nectarine with layers of orchard fruits and a floral nuance. The texture is full with an oily quality that is not at all heavy. There's a unique cedar dust character as well. Very fresh and crisp and long. Loved it. Despite being on ice this was a little warm when I poured it after the 90 minute travel time, and it still rocked. 93+ to 94pts.

  • Killer. Friends who are not white burg enthusiasts were smitten. Very young but with a lovely energetic core that just kept on giving.
