(Gysler Silvaner Halbtrocken) ($18.00) CORE-LIST WINE. A super successful vintage of this, after a rather ungainly 2010; more overtly fruity than the Scheu, but still laden with some of the rock-dust signature of Alex’s ‘11s; mace and pineapple, silky and deliciously direct. If this were your wedding wine you’d be happy. ‘Specially if you hired someone to swirl it for you and your guests.
