  • Slightly fizzy. Smells of sweet citrus and flowers. Refreshingly fresh and acidic on the tounge at first. The acid delicately balances the sweetness that develops throughout the entire journey. Slightly peppery in the finish, which lasts for a long time. The acid seems to remain on the inside of ones cheeks for ever. Delicious kabinett with excellent balance.

  • Dark straw. Classic steely Riesling nose, peaches and steel. Palate is classic Kabinett-weight, light on its feet, edge of sweetness. Lovely! (Flight one, #2/3WOF)

  • Sobering for the world of wine. $13 and mighty impressive. Broad, floral, ripe stone fruit (not so ripe to get into red fruit territory). 9%. Peaches and quite broad for a Kabinett. I had to this point been unimpressed by 11's (much preferring 10's and 8's) but this was something. Delicious with monkfish, a soba pancake, toasted sesame and burnt greens. This is great wine for little money. I would like to taste it again in 5 years or more.
