  Outstanding and particularly elegant rendition of a Cote Rotie. Superb fruit expression, very dry, supple, yet structured and pointed palate. Medium bodied, nothing is out of place. It does not offer a transcendental experience, but it is absolutely true to its terroir. Not at all a blockbuster, but it's a pure wine, with a nod to tradition.

  Given an hour of air in bottle. A nicely perfumed nose of fruits (red and black), peppery spices and cooked meats. A little simpler on the palate, but with a supple mouthfeel; tannins apparent but already integrating at this point. Performed slightly above expectations, and drinkable now.

  Pas de notes détaillées.
  Le nez et la bouche sont explosives mais par ailleurs assez unidimensionnelles, nous a-t-il semblé. Par ailleurs un bel équilibre matière-acidité-tanin-boisé...
  Peut-être a-t-il besoin de temps? Ou est-il en amorce de phase ingrate à ce moment-ci? Tout de même très très bon mais, à ce prix, nous laisserons le soin à d'autres de valider...
