  • Outstanding and particularly elegant rendition of a Cote Rotie. Superb fruit expression, very dry, supple, yet structured and pointed palate. Medium bodied, nothing is out of place. It does not offer a transcendental experience, but it is absolutely true to its terroir. Not at all a blockbuster, but it's a pure wine, with a nod to tradition.

  • Given an hour of air in bottle. A nicely perfumed nose of fruits (red and black), peppery spices and cooked meats. A little simpler on the palate, but with a supple mouthfeel; tannins apparent but already integrating at this point. Performed slightly above expectations, and drinkable now.
