Incrementally better and friendlier than my first btl in late 2014 but still needs to show more layers. Concentration and tension but currently, dominated by crushed rock and citrus. Still seeking a little more delineation but more enjoyable than the previous btl. 90+/ 91pts -
Reduced, with air reveals a mineral-driven nose of crushed rock, lime blossom, and lingering reductive smokey notes. Mineral-forward on the palate as well, framed by high acidity and citrus notes. Finishes long and crisp. This is an excellent villages-level Puligny-Montrachet.
