Meh. I think I agree with the other reviewer, but following his trajectory such that this one was mildly interesting on day one but not exactly delicious, undrinkably icky on the second day, in the manner of a no-sulfur wine which really needs to be drunk in one go.

This wine was trashy in a good way, with a beer bottle top instead of a cork. Extravagantly fruity (black cherry), even jammy, but still lively with good acid. Very slightly fizzy. Not very complex but tasty and fun to drink. Sort of a French version of Lambrusco. According to the winemaker, this is a combination of Cot (Malbec) and Cabernet Franc. Good with roast chicken. Could probably even stand up to something meatier.

Seems like masons brûlées wines are meant to be drank young. Faded and not as interesting as it was last time I had it. If you have this, drink up.
