Something wasn't quite right. From the nose to the palate, to the bottom on the bottle... it's a shame really. It felt like all the right stuff was there: ripe berries, spices, earthy and savory notes from aging and all the required acidity... but something was off. The fruit was a little bit muted and tannins a little dry for a wine this age (TCA?) and the palate was just slightly on stewed fruits and burnt sugar (oxidized). Not in your face at all but just a hint of "not right". Still did the job with homemade burgers au Comté and truffled fries. Could have been...

This is the second bottle I've had of this in a weeks time. Light garnet color, starting to brown a bit with a light clear rim. A nice nose of earth and cheese. Very light spice and tobacco. Light fruit, really smooth and pleasant taste from start to finish.

Beautiful wine drinking perfect right now. Everything I want in a Burgundy. Nose of stinky moldy cheese on bread in an old cellar. Beautiful taste, nice light fruit, super smooth all the way through and finish. The cork was bad but wine was fine. Decant for about an hour.

Blind wines (very brief notes) (Granby, CT): Fairly ripe fruit, very simple, thin frame, an unpleasant medicinal note, menthol, bit green. My 4 of 6.
