Good value budget Chilean cabernet sauvignon exhibiting all of the blackcurrant and cedar qualities you would expect. Matches a good french Camembert .... "la Rustique" available in many countries and always worth purchasing because it matures well and is typical of all the qualities that good french cheese has.

I've had this wine over the past few years and always considered it to be a good value. But this vintage is just plain bad. Not faulted, just really poorly made. The nose is strongly alcoholic and not much else. In the mouth, jammy, over the top fruit. No redeeming qualities. This is wine I wouldn't serve to anyone. Down the drain it goes.
