Been 2 years since the last bottle of this. It’s frozen in time and character. Just like the last bottle but more green. I would have said carminare on the nose.

Sadly this wine has long passed it whatever peak it might have enjoyed. It was very purple with fast legs and a short hot nose of alcohol and oak. It has a bitter after taste with bark, black pepper, and dust notes. It has a long finish with high acidity. I have two more bottles remaining - not sure what I'll choose to do with them.

Medium purple barely garnet. Green pepper and cassis aroma. Oak has mellowed with a hint of chocolate. After decanting the green is exaggerated with green tomatoes added. Hint of green tamales. Plenty of acid and fine tannins.

On the down-hill but still quite enjoyable. Sound wine with good integration.

Solid but inexpensive syrah that shows the typical Chilean green streak (but not in a bad way). In good shape at 8 years!
