drank over two days of watching the Barclay's FedEx Cup playoffs, this was a bit of a conundrum to me, loved the high acid, also sensed lots of material but felt like at this point the oak? or was it lanolin? was a little to dominant... great lemon flavor and lime oil on both nose and palate, nice wine and just wondering if it will be 2 - 4 points better in four or five years

White Burgundy followed by many others (Sydney, Australia): Basil, florals and lime on the nose. Some spice to the palate, there is also some textural interest and appeal even though it is evident from the soaring acidity that it is very youthful. Very good!

Kumeu River Masterclass (PWS Melbourne): Pale straw. Very shut down musty-old-closet nose. Reasonable length and complexity, but lacking a bit of fruit. Needs time, but not sure if it will come around.

too young, fruit forward, oaky. Has potential but should not have opened.
