Very light in color and in overall delivery. Really had to concentrate to pick up the subtleties in this wine and this is the lightest of the Bergstroms that I have had. Delicate red fruit with a gentle flowery nose. Not my favorite, but not bad.

Sunny January day = tasting around off North Valley (Willamette Valley): This spent 8 months in neutral french oak. The aromas are very soft, mild and light. On the palate this is really lean and light, nearly off putting in texture and just too lean without any fruit or structure to keep things alive. Again, lean finish with mild tannins, tartness, and some cherry, but things are quite bitter, showing a grittiness and not enough fruit considering the lack of structure.

Bitter cherry and earth with ever-so-slightly hot finish. More masculine in style; softened and improved with air. Should continue to drink well.

A lighter style Pinot that offers cherry flavours with just a touch of spice. It is approachable and quite refreshing like most Oregon Pinot Noir.
