Pours a medium golden yellow in the glass. The nose flashed petrol, slate, and both green grape and melon on the nose. Ripe green grapes on the palate, along with lemon/mango sherbert, bouyed by minerality that offsets the sweetness. 8.5% abv. Our first and seems to be fully evolved.

A nice dense wine with a good mouthfeel. Medium sweet with matching acidity so that it's not cloying at all. Minerals, melon and petrol on the palate, with a floral nose. Still very young with a lot of upside life.

Fuller bodied than Mosel, with sufficient acidity to keep it from being cloying or heavy. Classic sweet/sour German riesling. Should improve even more over next 5 years and last another 5.

Heavy petrol. Medium gold. Good acidity that balances the sweetness. There's citrus and stone fruits evident. This wine has plenty of life left.

Medium gold. Very well balanced and so enjoyable. Acidity and minerals acting as counterpoint to riesling sweetness.
