Even exotic honeysuckle, Braeburn apple, and luscious notes of papaya with a pleasing yet restrained residual sweetness and vibrant acidity couldn't rescue the burnt sweet potato fries. Next time I'll check a recipe.
A good amount of bottle variation. This is definitely better than my last bottle. Bright nose, good body and color. Zesty, acidity, expressive fruit, broader and more seductive body that reflects its age. Decent finish. I'm glad this wine recovered in round 2.
For me, the wine showed better with food. A little saggy in the acid department, which is a letdown. The structure has collapsed partially as a result. Some fleeting fruit. For 24 bucks, not up to my standards.
