  • Dark color, aroma of dark berries and spice. Well-balanced with nice tannins and aroma/taste of cloves. Nice body and finish. Went well with my manicotti. An excellent addition to the Spanish varietals by Bokisch at an excellent value

  • Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Medium-dark ruby color. Nice nose of plums with pine notes, oak and roasting meat. Pleasant on the palate, not tart but not soft, medium-bodied. Coffee flavors join the above aromatics. Finishes well with light, drying tannins. This is a fine bottle of unusual juice. Though it may improve over the short term, it's very approachable now, with appealing earthy traits. Excellent QPR at $21.
