(Merkelbach Erdener Treppchen Riesling Spätlese) ($22.00) Again my favorite among three fuders; this is an extravagance of slate! Granny Smith crunch, and this apple bites back. Again the sagey-cassis element. Wonderful, and check this out: 102º Oechsle and 29.2g.l. dry extract. Not so “little” after all. *
