I feel the 2010 is better but this is not bad at all. Nicely balanced chardonnay with some oak on the nose, but nice acidity and saline components. somewhere between an oaked burgundy and a mineral Chablis.

Chardonnay Tasting (Le Petit Sommelier): The nose is clean, medium intensity, a clear expression of fruit, light flowery notes, a bit vegetal as well, ripe citrus notes, youthful to developing. The wine is dry, medium body and intensity, medium acidity and alcohol, pineapple and citrus, vegetal tones, very nice fruit flavors, medium concentration, lime scented vanilla medium finish. Very good quality, premium price, drinking now but will hold.
The wine seemed to underperfom when compared to the previous one, but still a very good wine

Bright straw. Peach, pear, mellon and subtle oak on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, perfectly balanced with high fruit concentration, balancing acidity and textbook oak usage. Long aftertaste. Still quite a long way to go.

Off the list at Aggio. Didn't realize this was chardonnay, and wouldn't have guessed it. It's a very bright, high-acid style, typical Italian or even Greek style of white, very fresh and cutting, and initially there's not much more to it than that, but it does develop a more interesting mineral element as it warms up, sort of a Chablis-style ocean-sand-and-oyster-shell thing but more mild. Enjoyable wine, good with food, not profound.
