  Beast of a wine! Dark purple, almost Malbec black. Acid plus and structured. Some secondary flavors. Still quite tight. I would revisit this wine in 5 to 7 years to let it show its stuffing.

  Deep red color. Aromas of black cherry, licorice, black pepper and wood spices. Medium-bodied fruit in the mouth with very good depth and length and well-integrated tannins. Very fresh and supple on the palate. While delicious now, at very beginning of its peak drinking period.

  Has thrown tremendous amount of sediment. Austere with acid plus.I am just curious what this bottle will taste like in 20 years. Right now is just a solid dry wine without any charm.

  Crushed blackberry, pepper, tobacco, and baking spices on the nose, with minerally character and leather added in the mouth. Outstanding bottle. On the basis of this showing I’d wager that it will last another 10 years.
