  Color: Dark Ruby
  
  Nose: Mulled fruit, hints of vanilla, touch of clove on the back end.
  
  Palate: Rich and well developed. Prominent notes of aged blueberry with slight green pepper on the finish. Fresh despite the overall complexity of the wine.
  
  Body: Full yet rounded.
  
  Finish: Medium plus tannins that lingers long after your sip is done. I never want it to go away.
  
  All in all, a beautifully developed Merlot from Napa Valley. Big without being intrusive, rounded and welcoming. Right in its drinking window. All in all an excellent wine that blew past my expectations.
  
  1.5 hour decant.

  I swear I could smell this before the cork was half way out! Beautiful aroma of mulled fruit.
  This needs 30-60 minutes of air with juuuusst a slight chill. Cab glass, Syrah glass, Red Solo cup! The vessel does not matter (sorry Riedel). This lends credence to my belief that a great wine tastes great no matter the glass.
  Best Merlot I've had (the Realm Tempest is pretty close...and I haven't had my 2012 Rive Droite yet, so "best" TBD).
  Chocolate, mulled black luxardo cherry fruit, elegant, plush, slightly smokey, complex, spicey, concentrated, brooding.
  For me it's in the peak drinking window. A beautiful, mellow, wine drinking experience

  This is just getting into its window of drinking but will hold for a while. Similar notes to last time of blueberries, cinnamon, sage and notes of flowers. Really a pretty wine with big bold flavor

  Superintense but not jammy body. I respect Buccella a massive amount as they time and time again produce some incredibly high quality wines and do not compromise with their vision. I love it.

  Perfect choocolate and rasberry bomb!
  
  Still has so much potential. Keep it cellared for a couple of years and taste the yield!
