P/proper temp. Med Straw color w/long, fine bubble stream dissipating some with time. Initial nose showed mature fruit and slight yeast with yeast blowing off. Extremely well balanced with med acid, good fruit, falling between green/yellow apples. Not even close to being "over the top"'. Incredibly drinkable, smooth, soft but not thin w/slightly tart long fruit finish. Clean throughout and not toasty or woody. Certainly one if not the best aged sparker I've had. Exceptional. Ideal drinking window but will hold for years yet. Nothing off. D/J bottle. $170
Wow. Beautiful straw yellow with fine bubble streams. Popped and poured out of the fridge. This wine is in an ideal drinking window. Outstanding fruit - apple. Perfect medium acid. Minimal yeast. Outstanding balance. Three of us all loved it. Should have bought more even at the high fare.
Par excellence. Still youthful but the aging has only bettered the wine from my last tasting 3 years ago. Lemon curd, creme brûlée and dried pear. Biscuit and yeasty bread finished with hazelnut. Wow was this good. Hopefully there is more stored in the caves to buy. Highly recommended.
