This is delightful. Only from New Zealand, and especially Marlborough, do we get this depth and character from a Sauvignon Blanc. Do doubt about the crispness of the malic acid with the almost perfect not over ripeness. Light golden color. Herbal, moderately grassy nose with just a hint of "eau de gato". Intense, slightly green, entry of grapefruit, kiwi, orange, tangerine and apricot. Medium bodied. Crisp malic acid almost overshadows everything else. Typical New Zealand Sauvignon finish dominated by young acid at first, but give it a chance and you get fresh squeezed lime in a super pure way.
