Decanted at the Pluckemin Inn over a leisurely 2h lunch. Soft perfumy nose, a little tar and spices. The palate has abundant red cherries and raspberries, plenty of acid and tannins still on the finish. Great with oysters and a plate of orecchiette and mushrooms. A beautiful mature and classic Barolo.
