Bill's Monthly Lunch - October 2011 (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – developing nose of dark red fruits, spice and hints for cedar/wood. As it sat in the glass it started to show some Bordeaux-like aromas and flavours. This is drinking very well right now. Excellent.

First day this was just outstanding aromatically but the palate was thin and dominated by bright acidity. I vacu stoppered it after four hours air and put it in the fridge overnight. The next day it was easily twice as good on the palate but the nose had faded some.

Dark red. Coffee, dark fruit and a bit of pepper. Red fruit and coffee flavours. Long tannic finish.
This was a bit of a mystery to me. Needs more time, though it was very elegant and not ripe at all.

Deep garnet in the glass. Berry, mint, some dust, bright acidity, herb, long finish of cedar, dust, mocha, blackberry. Still at its peak.
