A little too sharp on the tongue for a ruby port for my taste, but does smooth out if held for a while on the tongue. Also -lots- of sediment in the bottle. Once I tasted the grape, it was quite good.

Deep, opaque red to a slightly peach rim. On the nose is cherry candy and a sting from the alcohol with a bit of caramel. On the palate is rich cherry cobbler with some bite. A little bit of chocolate mixed in. Finish is long and warm. Quite nice, but the alcohol is a little too pronounced.
