Cellared for about 10 years. Tannins well integrated, the wine improved with air. Not complex but quite enjoyable. Modest fruit fragrance, good flavor and balance- a good value as are many Cru Bourgeois from the 2010 vintage.

Ay home, this was a random bottle received as a Christmas present. PnP, drank slowly over 2 hours
Medium garnet color. Rich and expressive nose showing dark and blue fruits, earth, graphite...much more expressive after about 20 minutes, took some time. Palate was blueberry, dark cherry, oak, slightly sweet currant(?) through the mid palateStrong tannins, still grippy. Medium weight and finish.
Surprised to the upside, better than expected. Drinks well now, would like to see the tannins soften a bit. Should drink at this level and perhaps improve a bit. Not much nuance on the finish, so limited upside (IMO). For the price quoted by others...nothing wrong with this as an everyday Bdx...

This went down way too quickly! A highly enjoyable Bordeaux that punches above its class. Pleasant balance of red and purple fruit and terroir. Quite versatile with food. 90-91.

A very drinkable Cru Bourgeois at an amazingly sensible price. What it lacks in depth and complexity is made up for by fruit and balance. Still a little tannic, though hardly noticeable with food. As one can buy a case of this for less than a BOTTLE of Pontet Canet it's an easy decision. Thank goodness for the cheap Euro and the 8,000 unclassified Bordeaux vignerons!

Dark fruit aromas and flavors; very smooth, a little soft with rich cherry flavors; medium bodied, dry finish.
