  Opened about 1 hour before serving but not decanted. Deep garnet, virtually black color at the core with some fading at the rim. Intense and effusive nose of ripe cherries, earth, dry leaves, tobacco, and a bit of spice. Very full, ripe, and rich on the palate with fruit that just coats the mouth. That fruit is buttressed with plenty of acidity and some residual tannin to keep the wine nicely balanced and savory. Nice but short finish. Purchased on release and stored in my cellar since.

  Wasn’t expecting much considering the reviews but this was very nice. Great weight/texture and balanced mouth watering acid. Dark cherry, cranberry and orange. Long finish. Finishes with medium plus cigar tannins on the front and mid palate that may distract for some but I enjoyed it. Day 2 same notes

  A great Oregon Pinot. Medium color and body. Earthy tones, molasses, black tea. Medium finish.
