WOTN. Dark purple in colour. Notes of black fruit, tobacco, and licorice. Nice acidity, Elegant and smooth tannins. Med+ finish. Bigger wine, but so elegant. 18 years old, but still so young. Will drink well for years.

very good, and in contrast to my red burg experiences with 2006 (burly / heavy) this wine was light on its feet, had red and purple fruit on the palate, with good acidity and lift... pretty basic on both night one and night two but just an easy going wine with med plus body and an acidic rail for the fruit to ride on
