The 'cru's' of Mount Etna (Salone di Gusto, Torino, Italy): Light ruby with narrow watery rim, narrow legs. Medium(-)-medium developing nose of red fruits, barnyard, allspice, needs more time to open. Dry, medium acidity, medium(-) tannins, medium(-) body and medium alcohol. Medium flavors of red fruits, cherries, berries, soft peppery and savory notes, reasonably complex. Balanced and presence are good, more persistent and structured than the other Etna samples. Elegant, good length with long finish. Cellar potential. 89+
