Wow, nearly an idea gewürztraminer, as all was in balance. I could always use a bit more acid, but this still had some zip and tingle. Full-bodied and ripe, but with energy--not at all flabby or bitter like the grape can tend to. Yellow. Pear/grapefruit, roses, ginger, and mmmm. So good. Not dry-dry (bravo, on that!) but balanced and dry-tasting. The touch of fruitiness really gives this energy. A steal at Encuentro in Oakland.
