A decent value in a Nebbiolo, at $10. It is quite balanced with medium body, tart and sweet cherries, hints of floral and tar, smooth tannin and enough acidity to make it a good table wine. The oak treatment seems to dominate.
Of course it does not compare with more expensive Nebbiolos, in that is lacks the intensity of fruit, violet, tar, tannin and acid.
Aroma of cherries. Flavor notes of of cherry, cola and anise. Well balanced on sweetness. Finishes with spice and mineral on the end, and an almost oaky taste. Good value. Grows on you after the first glass.
