shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. still drinking down the dusties with potentially past due drink dates, with particular attention to white wines before winter weather sets in. picked this bottle to resolve differences of opinion from others. i felt confident holding on to this bottle based on my previous tasting note. turns out that this was a wise choice. the wine continues to show beautifully. the 14.5% alcohol contributes to the sturdiness of this wine without masking or overpowering the abundant white and citrus fruit in any way. the wine is still alive and vibrant. taste profile consistent with previous notes. still shows great vinosity and nuttiness which i enjoy so much in cali chard. appears to have sufficient acidic backbone to continue to show well for at least another year. i am happy to align myself with robinson and parker regarding longevity. tempted to buy more as it continues to be available at nearby retail outlet. s.

shared with pat at selkirk manor. celebrating her birthday. this is amazing wine. not many california chardonnays need this much time in bottle to show their full potential. this wine keeps getting better and better. slightly golden color. however, the wine is still fresh. generous nose. strong attack on the palate. still taste white and citrus fruits. get a hint of oak this time. builds to a crescendo at the end of the night. will wait six months to enjoy the last one.

Lots of rich yellow apples, spicy oak. Quite voluptuous on the palate. Showing some signs of age but this should be able to go for a few years longer. New World Chard without a doubt and while this is becoming less and less what I look for in a white wine this was enjoyable and easy to appreciate.

Changed quite a bit over three hours. Very versatile. First very floral with some herbal tones, then citrus fruits took over the rain before the oyster/sea salt minerality became more intense. Quite fresh and enjoyable. I would advise giving the wine some air.

Intense lemon curd aromas, with notes of toasted nuts and some caramel. Smooth palate, intensely rich. Long buttery finish.
