This wine seems a bit lightweight at first, but becomes more composed after a half hour or so. Light to medium-bodied, very attractive, just a hint of spice, lush.

Dense and dark. Nose is black cherry. Tannins are drying. A little too much so. Seems out of balance. The alcohol is higher. I'd wait another 2-3 years before trying again

Bold, up front big fruit with strawberry and raspberry notes. Nice mid-palate and medium long finish with rounded tannins. Outstanding QPR and truly tastes more like a $40-$50 wine than the $20 it is. Hard to hang on to this wine with its fresh, bold fruit bomb approach but I suspect it will become even better, more complex (though it has multi-layers as it is), and resolve the tannins with another year, maybe two, but not likely more, in the bottle peacefully slumbering before having its coming out party.

Not as good as his reserve, but still very Jamie, with notes of Plum, long on the Finish.

Floral nose, not very complex, easy to drink. Very good mid range Napa cab.
