Quite delicious and I can see why it's gotten some high-ish scores, but perhaps a tad one-dimensional and its sweetness can get a bit tiring. Showed aromas and round, ripe flavors of red and black fruits, herbs, tobacco, and black pepper.
Inky purple color, nose of blood and iron with floral overtones and fresh red fruit. Raspberry and jammy on the initial palate. Finishes with a dark chocolate bitterness that lingers for a while. A bit sweeter than a typical Rhone, but good in a new world way.
