Wonderful earthy nose, with black fruits and a little spice. All that is carried over onto the palate and it is smooth and a good depth and weight, with a nice fruity finish. A good honest wine and very Cndp. Drinking well and has got another 10 years plus. Available at several outlets and @laywheeler offer this, if produced, and the standard wine every year. A good value wine at £40 if you buy it now, but a lot less if you'd bought on first release.90 points

The most unique aspect of this wine was the aromas of saline, sea shells, forest floor, mushrooms. That very earthy/marine funk. This aroma was striking, but not as overpowering as some Burgundy or Greek wines I have had that shared this characteristic.

PNP. Pale maroon color. Fragrant nose of ash/char, meat, damp forest floor and sweet red fruit. Silky smooth palate. Soft, spicy medium finish. Great overall balance.

So much elegance, to the point where it tastes like a more robust Pinot. Just cracking its drinking window open, so find this if you can.

Good lord, there's something about those old vine grenache grapes that delivers such a magnificent, deep, delightful glass of wine!
Stunning on the nose from the off. Decanted but possibly unnecessarily, this bottle sings without much prompting.
It's got that spicy, hot hillside feel which I associate with the Southern Rhone, and its got it in spades.
Earth, dark fruit and spice. Lovely stuff.
