Oaky notes of Chocolate and a bit of Mocha lots of dark fruit; blackberry, black plum. Oaky notes are well integrated into the wine and not too dominant, so I would think French oak was used for maturation : Deep Ruby, Full bodied and medium high acidity and high in tannins. Very nice subtle fruit explosion in your mouth with a medium-long finish. Was petty astringent even after decanting so better have it with rich food. Can be a bit harsh to have it solo, even when aged for a decade.

Black fruit, again a little confected and jammy, spicy, earthy. Lots of concentration and richness. The alcohol is here again sticking out a little, but the wine seems to be more balanced and more vibrant over all. Silky tannins, good length. 90-92

Red Spain (Riga): Bright colour and intensive nose of smoked fruits, dried fruits, some alcohol can be felt already on the nose. With time it nicely develops into sauna and wood aromas. Low accidity, very extracted, which leads to a bitter finish. Dense and earthy, lots of oak and tannin. Will improve.

deep red, heavy, dark fruits. Tannic and acidic but sticks together. not bad. Bottle is ridiculously heavy.
