Solid yellow, clear and transparent. Still has fresh notes and alive. The 8 years of age have given their touch of earth, vanilla jam, light butter and dry white fruits. Acidity is still active, that promises more maturity is available.

Early Apr 2018 on a Delta flight: very pale amber color; exotic fruit bowl especially apple mingled with minerals; on the palate a tasteful interplay between fruit, acidity and a certain minerality; medium body; elegant texture.

Drank from a 375 ml bottle. Deep golden color. Creamy minerals and good Burgundy stink. The finish could use a little more of a kick - the acid is not as peppy as I normally prefer. But this is good stuff that I would happily drink again.
I'd be interested to have this from a 750 to see if it's a bit less advanced and more vibrant. If the smaller formats really do age faster, I would suggest that you drink up.
