Medium lemon color, medium minus body. Not very expressive with faint aromatics of stone fruits, and white stone; medium flavors of ripe peach, juicy apple, poached pear, salty rock, but little in the way of petrol. Medium dry with a touch of sweetness and enough acidity to provide balance. Medium ending. Enjoyed with an assortment of charcuterie and hard cheese. Somewhat simplistic, good at best, mediocre at worst. Drink now, unlikely to improve with further cellaring.

I only have one bottle of this wine. That turned out top be a big mistake. At 8 years old this wine is lovely. It has a great balance of fruit and acid with just a touch of residual sugar. The fruit is very intense as with most Alsatian Rieslings. The color was light gold. There was minimal bouquet.

Simple straight forward high quality Riesling. Much to my surprise this is well balanced and not overly sweet. Slightly green tinged, straw color with faint petrol and saline aromatics followed by tart lime, and sour apple flavors with a solid mineral backbone. No complaints for less than $20.

Acid Haus (Art & Design House, Wiliam Street): Honey, cream, touches of orange…a little savoury with honeyed notes. Perhaps slight botrytis here? Hmm
