  • I've never used the term "botrytis-bomb" before, but this applies here. Man this stuff is rich! Lemon candy, grapefruit gelee, amaretto creme brulee on the nose, a few whiffs of mossy earth in the background. The palate is glycerine in texture and weight, the heavy botrytis carries on. I wouldn't age this any longer or it might get too syrupy to drink (unless you've got some foie gras on hand).
